Outdoor creative play and skill building
The youth are our future and with the ever growing issues our planet faces, it is important our young ones develop an ability to turn their ear towards the soil. In this course, children will engage in creative expression as they learn about the earth’s natural cycles. Students will gather in local parks for a morning of wild crafting. Children will create nature journals, learn to document plant species, practice nature observation yoga, and engage in nature play through ecology, engineering, gardening, natural material building, eco dying, and more. Students will complete this course with a deeper relationship to the planet and take away many lessons on protection of their local ecosystems through art. This course is where young artists meet budding scientists.
